Genre - Murder Mystery.

Upon applying to be a part of Centre Frame, a dedicated team was built within this collaborative platform of talented creatives, which included a writer, a director, and a producer. When Ntiarna had the opportunity to meet the writer of "The Field," Darren Ross, she eagerly spoke with him to flesh out the script and co-write it while ensuring that the essential story arcs remained well intact. The concept for "The Field" initially started as just a small yet intriguing spark of an idea that Ntiarna had come across in one of the many outstanding Centre Frame scripts, but she quickly recognized that it held significant potential to be much more. Since that initial event, she worked closely with the writer to deeply explore the idea and elevate the overall concept.

In developing the story, Ntiarna aimed to create a narrative that would allow each audience member to interpret and derive their own unique messages, fostering a deeper connection to the material. Directing this short film in her own hometown provided a familiar and comfortable environment, thanks in large part to the helpful support of the cast and crew who collaborated to bring the story to life. With a large crew available, Ntiarna found it beneficial to direct her actor in a more idealistic style. She would often take him aside during moments when the crew was moving equipment to discuss the upcoming scenes, ensuring that he had the opportunity to voice any questions or offer input about his character.

Ntiarna also organized a crew run, allowing everyone to see what the director and actor had discussed, fostering a collaborative workspace. At times, she found that a hands-on approach was particularly beneficial for movement scenes, especially those in which her actor was being physically dragged. Unafraid to get involved, she would demonstrate through her own actions how the scene should unfold; this hands-on approach stemmed from her background in acting, and intertwining her directing skills with her acting experience has undeniably proven to be a valuable asset in her directing career.
